New Apt

My apt is front and center, 2nd floor. I'll try to post photos of the inside soon. It's really nice..comes with dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, alarm system...and brand new. I'll be the first tenant. 1st month is free.
It's also 5 minutes closer to work and the airport. A little more expensive than my other complex, but for the reasons mentioned above I'll take it. It saves me from buying a washer/dryer ($800), gives me peace of mind when I'm out of town, and saves gas, and should have a smaller electric bill...I chose the 2nd floor so that I'd have insulation from the sun for less AC running, and getting heat from below when it's chilly. (Usually enough heat comes from below that this canuckian doesn't have to turn the heat on all winter).

Bob
How does that joke go? What do you call a photographer in the middle of the ocean with no arms and no legs? Bob!

Custom Poster for Team Cat Alley

A note of interest is that Cat Alley is located in the projected path of Hurricane Rita, and dodged a bullet when Rita veered eastward by a few miles.

Heroes captured on film
This is NOT my photo,
but I thought it deserved to be preserved and the news spread for others to see. It's a photo by a local Real Estate Agent, Betty Ann Dewitt. She snapped the photo shortly before realizing she could help in other ways. Read the story here: http://www.herald.ns.ca/Front/491679.html The caption for the photo originally published in the Herald is: Floyd Morris, 77, works to rescue John Webster and his young son from their burning vehicle after it caught fire Sunday in Advocate Harbour. Seconds later, Mr. Morris emerged carrying the young boy. It took the help of two others to pull Mr. Webster from the car. (Betty Ann DeWitt)
